Derek Foster



         


The Right Honourable Derek Foster (born June 25, 1937), is the British member of Parliament for Bishop Auckland, in Sedgefield. He is a member of the Labour Party. He was Chief Whip of the opposition between 1985 and 1995 and so is a member of the Privy Council. He is now a backbencher.
