Timothy J. Roemer
Timothy John Roemer (born October 30, 1956 in South Bend, Indiana) is a former Congressman from Indiana who served from 1991 to 2003. Roemer earned a B.A. from the University of California San Diego in 1979. He also earned an M.A. and a Ph.D from the University of Notre Dame in 1982 and 1986, respectively. He was a member of the commission that investigated the September 11 terrorist attacks and was the key author of the legislation that authorized the Commission.
