The unclean animals refer to those listed in the book of Leviticus in the Bible. Many animals in the passage that are unclean have the characteristic of (but not limited to) having no divided hoofs (feet) and/or also do not chew the Christianity all the laws concerning clean and unclean animals are kept in the book of Letivitcus in the bible, it states all the characteristics of which are deemed clean and clean animals. Whilst, in Judaism, the Kashrut (Kosher) is the dietary law governing what can or cannot be consumed.
